Welcome to Yari Talk. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yari Talk's Mobile Application, website, and associated voice/video calling and virtual gifting services (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading the app, creating an account, or using our Services, you explicitly agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately uninstall the app and cease using our Services.

1. Age Limit & Eligibility (Strict 18+ Policy)

You must be at least **18 years of age** to register an account, recharge your wallet, or participate as a host or user on Yari Talk. We do not permit under-age users. By using the Services, you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to request proof of age or identity at any stage. Accounts found to be belonging to minors will be permanently deleted immediately without any warning, and any remaining wallet balance will be forfeited.

2. Host KYC Verification & Payout Settlements

Hosts who receive calls and earn virtual credits/coins on Yari Talk are subject to verification rules:

  • KYC Requirement: To participate in paid calling sessions, hosts must submit valid government-issued photo identification (such as Aadhaar, PAN card, or Voter ID) and a selfie for validation. Paid features are disabled until KYC is fully approved by our compliance team.
  • Video Calling Eligibility: Hosts are strictly prohibited from enabling the "Video Call" feature in their settings unless their KYC status is verified and approved. Any attempt to bypass this setting via API tampering or other methods will result in immediate suspension.
  • Payout Integrity: Earnings will only be settled to bank accounts or UPI IDs matching the name on the host's approved KYC document. The minimum withdrawal limit and platform service fees are dynamically managed and detailed in the earnings panel.

3. In-App Wallet, Recharges & Virtual Gifts

The platform uses virtual coins/credits inside user wallets to bill call sessions and send gifts:

  • Real-Time Billing: Voice and video calls are billed on a per-minute basis, calculated based on the host's specific rate. Deductions occur automatically from the caller's wallet balance in real-time.
  • Bypass Protections: If a user's wallet balance falls below the cost of an active call minute, the call session will be automatically terminated immediately.
  • Virtual Gifts: Users may purchase and send virtual gifts to hosts. Once sent, virtual gifts are immediately converted into host earnings and are non-retrievable.
  • Strict No-Refund Policy: All wallet recharges, coin purchases, and virtual gifts are final, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash or physical goods. Recharges cannot be transferred between accounts.

4. Zero Tolerance Code of Conduct & Safety Policies

We prioritize user safety and strictly enforce app store policies (Google Play / Apple App Store). The following activities are **strictly prohibited** on Yari Talk:

  • Nudity & Sexual Content: Broadcasting, streaming, or sending any explicit nudity, sexually suggestive material, pornography, or engaging in sexual solicitation or commercial sex.
  • Contact Detail Sharing (Bypassing): Exchanging phone numbers, social media handles, email addresses, or sharing external payment links. All communications must remain within the app. Attempting to bypass the billing system will result in a permanent ban.
  • Harassment & Bullying: Verbal abuse, threats of violence, blackmail, hate speech, or offensive remarks targeted at hosts or users.
  • Financial Solicitation: Asking users or hosts for direct bank transfers, UPI payments, cash, or loans.

We employ automated detection tools and a 24/7 moderation team. Any user or host found violating these guidelines will be banned immediately.

5. Account Suspension & Earnings Freeze

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or permanently block any account for violating these Terms.

  • Earnings Hold: If a host is flagged or suspended for violations (such as sharing phone numbers, nudity during calls, or fraud), all pending earnings and withdrawal requests will be immediately frozen for up to 90 days for investigation.
  • Wallet Forfeiture: In cases of severe or repeat violations (such as scams, underage use, or soliciting minors), the account will be permanently banned and all balances/earnings will be forfeited.

6. Intellectual Property & Media Ownership

By uploading profile photos, nicknames, bios, voice intros, or gallery images, you represent and warrant that you own the rights to all uploaded content. You are solely responsible for ensuring your media does not infringe upon any third-party copyrights, trademarks, or publicity rights. We reserve the right to remove any media that is flagged or reported as infringing.

7. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer

Yari Talk provides its calling and messaging features on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free connections. In no event shall Yari Talk, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from call disconnections, user behavior, network failures, or account suspensions.

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will indicate the date of the latest update at the top of this page. Your continued use of Yari Talk after modifications are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
