Welcome to Yari Talk! These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Yari Talk's Mobile Application and Services. By accessing or using our platform, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Yari Talk if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, recharge your wallet, or participate in voice calls on Yari Talk. By registering, you warrant and represent that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to request proof of age or verify identity at any time. Accounts belonging to minors will be permanently deleted immediately.

2. User Responsibilities & Account Security

To use our calling services, you must register an account verified via SMS OTP. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and profile logs.
  • Ensuring all profile photos, names, and bio information uploaded are appropriate and do not violate copyright or trademark laws.
  • All activities and calls conducted under your verified account.

3. Wallet Usage & Deductions

The platform uses an in-app wallet balance system to enable voice calls:

  • Per-Minute Billing: Calls are billed on a per-minute basis, calculated based on the host's specific rate. Wallet deductions are done in real-time.
  • Insufficient Balance: If your wallet balance falls below the minimum required amount during an active call, the call session will be automatically disconnected.
  • Non-Refundable: All wallet recharges are final and non-refundable, except as explicitly outlined in our Refund Policy.

4. Calling Rules & Code of Conduct

When initiating or participating in voice calls on Yari Talk, you agree to follow these guidelines:

  • You will respect the hosts and other callers. Respectful behavior is mandatory.
  • You will not record, broadcast, or redistribute call audio without explicit prior written consent.
  • You will not extract other users' personal mobile numbers or personal credentials.

5. Host Rules & KYC

Hosts who earn through calls are subject to special regulations:

  • Hosts must submit valid government ID proofs (KYC verification) and selfies before receiving paid calls.
  • Host profiles must be accurate and must not impersonate other entities.
  • Hosts are prohibited from requesting direct transfers, cash payments, or sharing personal contact numbers to bypass the platform's billing.

6. Suspension Policy & Prohibited Activities

We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy against violations. Prohibited activities include:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats of violence, or hate speech.
  • Scams, financial fraud, impersonating admins, or wallet manipulation schemes.
  • Uploading profile media containing nudity, explicit material, or offensive imagery.

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension, wallet forfeiture, or a permanent ban from the Yari Talk platform.

7. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Yari Talk, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this platform. Yari Talk shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of our voice calling services.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
